Understanding life is perhaps the most important task for all of us.
Understanding life as a whole, to see the beauty and the difficulty, asking ourselves, also, questions with no answer, and giving attention to everything around us.
To observe the relation we have with other human beings, with nature, with the universe.
To observe the relation between the past, the present, the future.
Asking ourselves if the beauty, the truth, the peace may really exist in our daily life and in humanity.
To observe the joy as well as the sufference in ourselves and in others.
Asking all this not only through words, but also in silence, also in action, also exploring the deepest intentions.
Understanding life is to live in wisdom, it isn't an intellectual thing.
Do we need, for this task, a guide? Or should we work in solitude? What is the way?
It is my opinion that the life itself is the teacher and that only through a true personal interest one understands, it is that interest, that passion, that meets the words of the sages and prophets, that meets the others in the relation and dialogue. And meets ourselves in silence.

The modest contribution Casa della Pace gave during the last ten years to this quest of us all has been expressed through meetings around J.Krishnamurti teachings and around education.
Furthermore a undetermined number of people coming from different countries and cultures spended here some days or some months, paying or working as volunteer, finding here a possibility for dialogue, silence, cooperation and personal deliberation.
Who wished could probe into or meet J.Krishnamurti words using, individually or not, the books and DVDs where his talks are recorded.
There are no scheduled activities, except for the meetings.

Who comes with this spirit is welcome.
